A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed. - Ansel Adams

practice of patience
These lovely boxes arrived yesterday. Unfortunately I won't be able to use them until later in the week. *sad face* For now I will just admire them sitting on my desk and look forward to becoming great friends.

only love is all maroon
1. Falling in love.
2. Laughing so hard your face hurts.
8. Hearing your favorite song on the radio.
9. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside.
14. A bubble bath.
15. Giggling.
20. Midnight phone calls that last for hours.
21. Running through sprinklers.
23. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful.
24. Laughing at an inside joke.
26. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.
31. Having someone play with your hair.
35. Swinging on swings.
36. Wrapping Christmas presents under the Christmas tree.
41. Someone making you chocolate chip cookies.
"There is no measuring how this makes me feel."

this one.
She knows.
Okay, this post really has nothing to do with this mutt. But everything to do with the fact that I am now the proud owner of www.FallGirlPhotography.com. I have no idea what I am going to do with this website, if anything, but I am going to try to find time to play around with it this weekend.
"It's a knowing smile of someone that knows things I don't and feels things I can't sense, always."

homemade, homegrown.
I made Indian Tacos.
They were tasty but the best part was my homemade, homegrown salsa. YUM. Tomatoes, jalapenos and cilantro fresh from the garden. I may never buy salsa from the store again.
"Then let the river in. We might drift away but we'll find our way again."
