A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed. - Ansel Adams

Last good episode of The Office.

The writers did an incredible job writing this episode. I was sure they would write their wedding in some predictable, boring way but this brought me to tears and I completely loved it. However, since this episode all the new shows have been pretty much crap and Pam is back to her unlikable self. Boo.

For Mother's Day

Not Complaining...

Burrrrrrr! It is May 13th and I think Spring is confused. It is freezing but I love it! Just wish I would have worn a jacket over my yellow sweater today.

{I am already looking forward to Autumn. Things are always better in Autumn.}

I took advantage of what is most likely the last cold day until autumn and slept with the window open and cuddled under about nine million blankets last night. It was a good night. :)

And we live in a beautiful world...

Natural High

Isn't it bizarrely wonderful when a scent or a song or a sight floods your mind with memories? I love that feeling; that rush, the head spin, especially when it makes you smile. It is intoxicating.

{Some for me: Malibu Musk, One Headlight by the Wallflowers, Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar, Sweet Peas, Discos, Black Cherry candles, small town Main Street, The Fugees, De Ja Blue water bottles, anything Stillwater (many different memories), Cool Water cologne, crisp Autumn days, saltwater, mothballs, Jodeci, Stargazer Lilies, Rooster Days, Lifehouse, caramel apples, Comfortable...}

To be continued...

Lady In Red

This played last night at the restaurant. I smiled. My heart smiled and broke all over again.

I'll keep on moving, Things are bound to be improving these days...

The Royal Tenenbaums is a wonderful movie, so completely unique. The scene with Nico's These Days between Richie and Margot is one of the all-time best of any movie. I love Nico's version but when I heard the original on my dad's iPod, I loved it even more.

Cool like that.

I haven't been cooking lately. Well, unless I have company and then I go all out. I have wasted more food than I care to acknowledge. Last night I decided to make pork chops with rice and broccoli. I had eaten toast and OJ the last two nights for dinner and wanted to eat something "real". I grilled the chops and was starting the rice and broccoli and realized I had no appetite and there was no way I was going to eat any of it. So, guess what? Toast and OJ night three. Food and I no longer hang. I'm cool like that.

Addendum: At least I am shrinking as a result. Heartbreak FTW!
