A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed. - Ansel Adams

lives that learned to give when it seemed there was nothing.

surprise trip.  any guesses where this is?  hint: it's my "home".  my favorite place. {if you really know me, you know the answer without the photos}

okay, this one will give it away.
{view from the coach's office}

oh yeah, met coach gundy and brandon weeden.  no biggie.  both were so kind and humble.

but the best part of the evening was sitting on the 50 yard line.  in the rain.  surrounded by an empty stadium.  i've done this before.  minus the rain.

to make it what it was to be.

did you learn that at vegan academy?
sorry, watching scott pilgrim while editing.  love this movie.

so, i had the most unsuccessful shoot saturday morning.  we did an 8 am shoot but the parents forgot to take into consideration that their child is NOT into mornings.  he cried/fussed 90% of the shoot, the little guy was just tired.  i felt SO defeated driving home.  like a complete failure as a photographer.  thankfully once i finally let myself look through the photos we did get a couple of good ones.    i am working on the rest tonight.

after the shoot it was back-to-school shopping for my absolute most favorite little boy on this earth, dillybear.  it kills me that he is starting kindergarten next month.  i nerded out in the back-to-school section of the store.  school shopping has ALWAYS been an exciting time for me.  don't judge.

harry potter.  excited.  sad.  giddy.

alrighty, back to work.

toms and toms.

the kitchen looks like a farmer's market.  i love it.  already planning how to expand the beds next year.  now that i finally have enough tomatoes there will be homemade salsa and marinara sauce this weekend.  and jalapeno poppers.

my new favorite toms.  love.  {i borrowed this image because i liked it so much}
